How Does the Evolution Lifetime Battery Program Work?
In addition to our 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects, you can register your Evolution EXT batteries for our Lifetime Battery program. This program provides free battery replacements for life*! Whether your battery reaches its charge cycle limit or nears the end of its natural lifespan – we’ve got you covered for life!

*Note: This program is available only for Evolution EXT batteries purchased in the continental United States, Alaska, and Hawaii. It is not available in Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, or the United States Minor Outlying Islands, and is subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.

How Do I Register? To register your batteries to the Lifetime Battery, simply:

1. Visit https://store.evolutionpowertools.com/pages/register-your-product-warranty within 45 days of purchase

2. Select your bare tool or battery from the menu

3. Select checkbox for lifetime battery registration on warranty registration form

4. Enter your unique serial number (located on the bottom of your battery)

That’s it! Now you have a battery for life!

Where Is The Battery Serial Number?
Your unique serial number can be found on the battery rating label, typically on the bottom of the battery or on the back of the battery box. This number is usually highlighted in a grey box.

If you cannot locate the serial number, please contact us via chat or phone at 1-833-685-8472 for support.

How Do I Know When My Battery Qualifies for a Replacement?

The Evolution Lifetime Battery Program covers battery issues related to cycle life and internal resistance.  These can be diagnosed using your EXT Rapid Charge battery charger. If the charger shows a flashing red light when your battery is connected, it’s time for a replacement.

You may be required to provide a short video of the battery connected to the EXT Rapid Charge battery charger showing a flashing red light and/or pictures of the battery’s condition.

Note: The Evolution Lifetime Battery Program does not cover battery damage caused by:

  • Liquid exposure or corrosion (Evidence of water exposure includes, but is not limited to: corrosion or oxidation on battery or device terminals or swelling or deformation of the battery housing.)
  • Storage in extreme high-temperature or extreme low-temperature environments
  • Misuse, neglect, or physical damage as determined by Evolution (Evolution retains the sole discretion to determine misuse, neglect, or damage and may deny claims accordingly.)

What is the Process to Get My Battery Replaced?
To request a battery replacement, contact the Evolution Customer Service team via chat or by phone at 1-833-685-8472 (Monday through Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm CST). Once your qualification for Lifetime Battery Program is confirmed, we will send you a new battery at no charge directly to your home or office.

Do I need to Register the New Battery After Replacement?
Yes. When a battery is replaced, the new product will have a new serial code and must be re-registered to maintain Lifetime Battery coverage. You can re-register at https://store.evolutionpowertools.com/pages/register-your-product-warranty or give us a call at 1-833-685-8472.

Important: Re-registration must occur within 45 days of replacement. Proof replacement may be required.
